Dr. Steele is in his seventh year as the Superintendent for Cisco ISD. Dr. Steele grew up outside of Atlanta, GA and graduated from Norcross H.S. in Norcross, GA. He received his bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University and then studied at Tarleton State University for his master’s degree. He earned his doctorate degree in education administration from Texas A&M University in College Station, where he focused on school finance and school district efficiency. Prior to Cisco, Dr. Steele served as deputy superintendent for Royal ISD, superintendent of schools for Westphalia ISD, and as a teacher and administrator in Belton ISD and Copperas Cove ISD.
Dr. Steele is married to his wife, Holly, and has a son named Tyler who is in the 11th grade at Cisco High School. Dr. Steele’s older daughter, Georgia Kate, is a 7th grader at Cisco Elementary. His younger daughter, Elizabeth, is in 2nd grade at Cisco Elementary.
